A lovely antique English oak side table dating from around the turn of the 20th century, circa 1890–1910.

A particularly attractive little table with plenty of traditional character, featuring three useful drawers, decorative brass drop handles and a beautifully shaped scalloped apron beneath the central drawer.

The front legs feature attractive fluted detailing, while the remaining legs are simple and elegant, giving the table a lovely slender appearance.

The oak has developed a warm, rich colour and attractive natural figuring over the years, with the expected marks and signs of age adding to its character.

Its compact size makes it extremely versatile and it would work beautifully as:

A side table
Occasional table
Lamp table
Hallway table
Sofa side table
Small bedside table
Telephone table
The three drawers provide useful storage without making the piece bulky, making it ideal for smaller spaces.
