A lovely antique English oak bedside cabinet dating from around the turn of the 20th century, circa 1900.
A very attractive and practical little piece, constructed in oak with a warm natural colour and attractive figuring throughout. The cabinet features a traditional framed and panelled door, decorative brass hardware, an overhanging top and a solid plinth base.
The door opens to reveal a useful internal shelf, providing handy storage for books, bedding, toiletries or other everyday items.
Although originally designed as a pot cupboard or bedside cabinet, it would work equally well as a small side cabinet, lamp table or occasional storage cupboard elsewhere around the home.
